Dr.
Jeff Miller
did his undergraduate work in Minnesota and Michigan, earning a
Bachelor of Science, with honors, and Master of Arts in Clinical
Psychology from Western Michigan University. His doctoral studies
were completed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Counseling
Psychology. Dr. Miller has been a licensed psychologist in Missouri
for 25 years as well as a certified health provider.
Dr. Miller has served as a psychiatric unit treatment
coordinator, as senior clinician for children’s services, as a special
consultant for
Park
College
. He has extensive training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy through the
American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Milton H Erickson
Foundation of Phoenix AZ. His doctoral dissertation studied the
psychological testing profiles of individuals with Multiple
Personality Disorder. Dr. Miller maintains a private practice in the
Blue Springs suburb of Kansas City. He lives on a farm in Kansas City
with his wife and children.
Jeff is a “general practice” psychologist treating children
and adults. Services provided include individual therapy, marital
counseling, pre-marital counseling, divorce counseling, family
therapy, group therapy, psychological testing, evaluations, hypnosis
and hypnotherapy, presentations and consultation to individuals and
groups. Problems treated include anxiety and depression, panic
disorders, family discord, sexual dysfunctions, phobias, personality
disorders, dissociative disorders, bipolar disorder and thought
disorders.
